Vimpex is exhibiting at The Emergency Services Show 2026, at the NEC in Birmingham on 16 and 17 September, on Stand Q30. As a founding partner and premier partner of the show, and marking 25 years supplying the UK’s emergency services, we are bringing our full rescue range to Birmingham.
Crews are responding to a broader range of incidents than ever before, and the equipment they carry has to match the task. For that reason the stand is arranged by operational task rather than by supplier, so you can walk straight to the kit relevant to your role.
Technical rescue
Vimpex is the exclusive UK supplier and service agent for Paratech Vehicle and Rescue Support Systems. On the stand you will find an Absolute Raker set-up, a Multiforce air lifting bag and the Rescue Guardian, Paratech’s Bluetooth load, incline and seismic monitor.
Rescue technology
The FirstLook FL360 search and rescue camera will be running live demonstrations across both days, giving high-definition search capability in confined spaces, voids and collapsed structures. Alongside it are Diablo, a rapid method of isolating an electric vehicle at the charge port on the incident ground, the Canaria+ heat exhaustion monitor, and our HIKMICRO thermal imaging cameras.
Tactical firefighting
BIG’s German-built fans are on the stand in both forms: the HP18 iB+ battery fan, light enough for one firefighter to carry and deploy with no fumes and no warm-up time, and the higher-output HP21 engine-driven fan. The BIG Portable Smoke Blocker will be rigged over a doorway so you can see how quickly a compartment can be sealed.
PPE
Our PAB helmet range includes the Fire 05 BE PRO structural helmet and the MP1 Professional rescue helmet, both now available through the NFCC framework, which lets services single-source structural and rescue helmets from one supplier. The MP1 Professional is now in use with more than half of the UK’s ambulance services. Helmets will be out on the stand to try on, along with the Athena glove range.
Water rescue and wildland firefighting
An NRS rescue raft and NRS rescue clothing cover water and flood response, and we will have Inforest wildland firefighting equipment on display.
Decontamination
Lejon Kemi specialist detergents will be on the stand alongside a Ram Air gear dryer. Washing PPE at 60°C with specialist detergents can achieve removal rates of up to 95% for some of the most dangerous carcinogens, and our team can talk through the whole process, from water temperature and detergent chemistry to drying and return to service.
Brochures for the full range will be available on the stand, and our product specialists will be there across both days.
