Vimpex is pleased to introduce the DIABLo EV Immobiliser, the latest addition to our specialist range of rescue products for the emergency services sector. 

Specifically designed to help emergency responders, the DIABLo EV Immobiliser allows teams to quickly and safely secure electric and hybrid vehicles before carrying out critical work. 

The device simply plugs into a vehicle’s charging port and immediately disengages the drive function while applying the brakes. By simulating a charging process, DIABLo ensures the vehicle is completely immobilised and stable, with no risk of electrical current flowing out. 

Key features include: 

• Safe and simple operation – just plug in to immobilise. 

• Maintains 12v battery function – allowing electric seats, boot release and other essential features to remain operational while the vehicle is immobilised. 

• Zero power required – with no LEDs, batteries, or external power needed, DIABLo is always ready to use. 

• Universal compatibility – double-ended with Type 1 and Type 2 connections, suitable for all EV and hybrid vehicles. 

• Built-in visibility – supplied in a high-visibility, rip-open pouch that doubles as a warning flag, reducing the risk of leaving it behind. 

• Rugged and compact – designed and manufactured in the UK, the unit is tough, portable, and easy to store in kit bags, boots, or onboard emergency vehicles.
