Fire-Cryers used to help Indoor Ski centre to effectively improve both Fire and Flood Alerts.

The ultimate snow, ice & leisure experience. The SnowDome is the UK’s premier real snow centre. Real snow, all year round, provides the ultimate alpine surface to learn and enjoy these exciting sports in a fun and progressive environment.

Why was the Fire-Cryer chosen?

The Snowdome had 2 systems on site due to expansion and wanted to combine the systems due to ease of maintenance.  One half of the system was a PAVA that was used intermitently.  The Fire-Cryer gave the site the ability to broadcast fixed voice messages allowing them to still clearly evacuate the building including integrating the Alarm tone that was already in use throughout the building.

When discussing improvements to the system it was mentioned by site that due to the Lake on the perimeter of the building they are prone to floods.  The Fire-Cryers on site now all have built in Flood alarms which can be triggered when a flood is likely.

Within the site Midis, Minis and Fire-Cryer Plus' were used in order to accomodate different environements each of which having varying ambient noise levels.

"The Fire-Cryer system allowed us an easy and straight forward combination and upgrade whilst still maintaining Messages and Tones customers and staff were accustomed to hearing."
